Upon arrival, check in to pre-arranged camping at Nunwan base camp and spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the altitude and exploring the local markets.
Day 4: Chandanwari to Sheshnag – Gear up for the first leg of your trek! We’ll take a scenic drive to Chandanwari, the starting point of the trek. Today’s trek takes you through challenging terrain, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. We’ll cross the enchanting Sheshnag Lake, a mesmerizing sight nestled amidst snow-capped peaks. Set up camp for the night at Sheshnag and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
Day 5: Sheshnag to Panchtarni – Brace yourself for the most challenging leg of the trek. We’ll conquer rugged terrain and ascend to Panchtarni, the base camp for the Amarnath Cave. Rest and recharge at your campsite, preparing for the highlight of your journey.
Day 6: Panchtarni to Amarnath Cave & Baltal – Embark on an early morning hike to the awe-inspiring Amarnath Cave. Witness this natural wonder and soak in the unique atmosphere.
